ACK Kapsabet donates Sh300,000 to needy students

Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Kapsabet Diocese Bishop Paul Korir (right) during a service where 24 needy students received Sh300,000 church kitty.

At least 24 needy students from Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Kapsabet Diocese, benefited from the church school fees kitty, to help them pursue studies. 

A total of Sh300,000 were disbursed to the students each getting Sh10,000. 

ACK Kapsabet Diocese Bishop Paul Korir said the church saw it was noble to set aside a kitty for needy students, so as to help them pursue their education. 

He said their was need to support children from humble families undertake education in order to fulfill their dreams. 

He also acknowledged efforts by both the government and non governmental agencies in helping such children on the same.
