The youth under the umbrella, 'ODM Wenchi Ghana' said they can’t wait to attend Raila Odinga's swearing-in ceremony upon his election.
Speaking on their behalf at the tomb of former prime minister of Ghana Kofi Abrea, Evans Jesse said Raila has fought for democracy in the entire African continent.
"Raila has a united force, something quite similar with (Ghana President Nana Akufo-Addo's) party that won the elections," he said, as quoted by the Star.
The youth also expressed their happiness to host the former prime minister during the ceremony.
"We are happy to have Raila. He is important because he is an in-law of this land. Raila is not just a mere person. He is also a royal professor," he added.
They also said they are united with the Kenyans who are tired of the current leadership.
"In as much as we cannot be in Kenya in person to do what we would have wanted to do for him, everything we post on the net shows that we are in solidarity with what he is championing for," he noted.
