Raila, who is taking a fourth stab at the nation’s top seat, said that he will face President Uhuru Kenyatta and Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) if his victory is stolen. The Former Prime Minister, however, did not specify how he will ensure that the outcome of the election is free and fair.

"Mara hii wakiiba haturudi kwenu kulia, sisi tunasema tutaonana nao mundu khu mundu. Wakipiga tunapiga, wakihesabu tunahesabu na wakujumulisha, tunajumulisha," which loosely translates to (This time if they rig will not come back to you crying, we are saying we will confront them one on one. When they vote, we will vote, when they count we will count and when they tally, we will tally”

The sentiments of the opposition leaders come at a time when he is  pushing for the resignation of some of the officials of the electoral commission including CEO Ezra Chiloba among others thought to  have engineered President Uhuru’s win, which has since been nullified by the  Supreme Court.
